I was a business owner. A CEO. I used to meet on product, on marketing, on operations, on budgets, with banks, with investors, with photographers, with staff. Yikes. I gave it up to blow things up.
See, I hate meetings. Meetings slowly suck the life out of you. They're slow. Everyone wants to say something. To "contribute". Meetings kill creativity. My mind wanders. I think of my dog, Buzz, upside down. Happy.
People who are in meetings hate being there. Why do you think they are late? Those who are not in "the" meeting feel left out. Everyone is thrilled when the meeting is done early!
So, I left the world of meetings. The best part? I'll meet for a beer. At a gallery. A park. A golf course. I'll meet a new friend. Or better yet, an old friend.
Even better, today I've arranged to have canvas meet with some fuse and gunpowder. Boom!
