The True Cost Of The Stick Vega Cap!

The new Stick Vega Signature baseball caps are in.  I am selling them for $35.

A friend of mine said, "Man those are cool, but way to expensive".  I am transparent with my work, process and costs.  So, in that regard, here is the true cost of my signature caps.

$5  All cotton Alternative Apparel Cap with adjustable strap

$10  Embroidery (done locally)

$1  Vector Art and Set Up (It is my signature)

$0  Freight (I drove to K Printing in Mc Farland to pick them up.  It was raining, but a nice trip. Renee came with me.  And the owner, Jason, was there. He is a cool guy.)

$3  Gunpowder replenishment fund.  I blow up a lot of art.  I use a lot of gunpowder.

$3  Fuse replenishment fund. I use a lot of fuses, too!

$4  Stick Vega marketing and branding.  This goes into the fund I use to grow the brand. I would like to be recognized as easily as Polo or Burberry.  But, I create these in small quantities. For this batch I only made 24 hats. So, I have a long, long way to go.

$4  Blast Factory Beer fund.  Sorry, we like to drink beer.  And if you come to the studio I will have a cold one ready for you!

$5 Shipping.  I am not sure that is enough to cover all the USPS or UPS charges and packaging.  But, it is a number I can remember.

$35 Total.  Boom!

Next, I did some comparison shopping.  A cool Rag and Bone baseball cap costs $125.  Gents makes some hip caps.  Each of them is $48. And the Polo classic is $35.  All of these are plus shipping!  Sure, you can find some for less, but you will never find one as unique as mine.

This hat is the classic.  I hope to have them available for many years.  They support my art and build my brand.  By buying one, you support my art and my brand.
