Pause. Remember. Boom!

I just read a good article, I'm A Veteran And I Hate 'Happy Memorial Day'. Here's Why.,  in The Washington Post. It was written by Jennie Haskamp.  In it she reminded me nearly 7,000 Americans have died in Afghanistan and Iraq.

There is too much killing.

So, I focus on my mission.  The more gunpowder I use, the less there will be for killing people.

Jennie reminded me though to use this weekend the way it was designed back in 1868. Use it as a time to pause and remember the men and women who paid the price for our freedom, and then go about enjoying those freedoms.

Good work, Jennie.  This weekend, when I get to The Blast Factory, I promise...

Pause.

Remember.

Boom!
