Harry and I were in the Blast Factory. We could not complete any art as it was so cold and windy. So we decided to take the afternoon off an go see The Revenant.
I liked the movie. I liked it a lot.
It made me think of a good friend of mine, Gary, who was mauled and killed by a bear about 25 years ago. It still makes me sad.
There are some great uses of gunpowder in the movie. Starting fires, patching wounds. Cool.
I also like that both the good guys and the bad guys (if you could tell the difference) were good shots. That was refreshing.
The film had stunning images and was beautiful to watch. Leonardo DiCaprio was really, really good.
Harry and I got back to The Blast Factory and we starting talking about sequels. We figured a new movie franchise - with numerous movies - could be created. Based on prior movies concepts, here are some of our ideas:
Night Of The Living Revenants
12 Years A Revenant
Gone With The Revenant (Renee's favorite)
The Thin Red Revenant
Looking For Mr. Revenant
Revenants vs. Aliens
War Of The Revenants
Band Of Revenants (From the HBO series)
A Few Good Revenants (Jack Nicholson will make a great Revenant)
Star Wars: The Revenant Awakens
The Revenant Of Oz
Revenant Jones and The Temple Of Doom
Let us know which one you would like to see. I'm sure we can make some calls and get it made.
You can do this, too. Send us your best Revenant movie titles. Song titles work, as do band names!
Time to get back to work!
