Freedy Johnston, Jay Moran, and Stick Vega Poolside Live!

There are three things Madisonians do really well: music, food, and art.  Tuesday, September 2, at 7pm central time you can tune into a live online event to catch the work of singer-songwriter Freedy Johnston, food entrepreneur/musician Jay Moran, and explosion artist Stick Vega.  The long term friends will be presenting their work in an online event, poolside, just outside The Blast Factory (Vega's studio).

The event will open with an explosion artwork event from Vega.  If it's not blown to bits, the piece will be given away in a random selection to those who tune in. (You can see some current work in Stick's shop.) Johnston will be performing melancholy songs including some from his new album, Neon Repairman.  Moran will debut the world release of the new Wisco Tropical Ginger Lime Sauce.

Freedy Johnston said of the event, "Missing this webcast will cause one to be sulky and quiet as your friends cheerily recount the hijinks of the show the next night over cocktails. And you'll have the chance to win an original Stick Vega painting which you will see get all blowed up on camera. (That's how they are made , you see). And you will also bear witness to an historic realignment of the power structure of the hot sauce world with the introduction of Jay's mango lime ginger sauce."

For some extra fun, the event is a celebration of Harrison's birthday (Vega's son)!
