The Blast Factory announced today that it is teaming up with ProVideo to create, shoot and produce a new video for Stick Vega.
The video is currently in the planning phase and is expected to be shot over a couple of days in late July.
The piece will be produced by Jim Steiner and directed by Daniel Kinney.
Stick Vega explained, "ProVideo produces world class ads, videos, and short films. They are based in Madison, WI and Los Angeles, CA and have done cool and effective work for many national brands including a number of Super Bowl commercials for Godaddy. We hope to tell a good story about my process, the moment of creation, and the resulting artwork."

The video will be shot in various locations around Madison and inside The Blast Factory.
As part of this collaboration with ProVideo, Stick Vega is preparing a number of artworks to be used in the shoot. When completed, the plan is to use some of these artworks for a commercial installation at ProVideo's offices in Madison.
Stick Vega continued, "The video will be used for art shows and to present my process, work, and mission to a greater audience. Most galleries won't let us blow up art in their space. This video is a great alternative. Viewers will get a great sense of what I do, and why I do it. And, did I mention we will have explosions! Hell, yes, explosions!"
